WHAT IS CLFA?
The church growth in Asia has a huge potential to build a vibrant, regional and local youth ministry. This potential is explosive to impact society and the global church. We believe this is possible by developing the youth ministry in local churches. Thus the prime focus of our ministry is to reach regions and churches where there is less exposure to youth ministry. Such a focus has directed our efforts for pioneering youth ministry in various local and denominational settings. This endeavor has diversified CLFA’s ministry into four areas. Each of them has become possible through partnership with various organizations, denominations and local churches.
CLFA is a volunteer-based interdenominational youth movement. Our work is spread across India, Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh.
HOW IT STARTED?
Rev. Dr. Joyson K Cherian started his ministry as a student and many doors were opened to him to preach among young people. He received a unique favour to minister among various denominations including the Pentecostal, Anglican, Lutheran, and Baptist Churches. Many churches reached out to him to help develop a youth ministry which was different from the existing youth ministries around. The request became persistent from various churches for a bigger youth ministry to guide and build their own local youth ministry.
In 2008, Rev. Dr. Joyson K Cherian along with Mr. Vicky Nagrani, Mr. Lawrence Dubois, Mrs. Shefali Cherian and a group of like-minded young people started CLFA – Christ Love For All, with a burden to inculcate a sense of Christian Mission among the youth. Over the last decade, CLFA has become a fully equipped team of ministers and leaders who are blessed with various gifts and talents.

THE LOGO
Previously the cross symbol represented the love of Christ. After completing a decade of experiencing the love of God over the Youth Movement the logo was changed to a more unique and simple design where the cross was blended into the ‘f’ showing his love for us.
VISION
CLFA is a youth movement that actively tries to demonstrate the love of Christ to everyone. We envision a generation that stands as a facilitator for the salvation of Christ to be known in this age.

MISSION
CLFA aims at awakening and equipping a generation of young people to be godly agents of transformation in the world. We understand the need of the hour and open new avenues of mission for the youth to engage in and be the face of love in the world.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We, members of the Church of Jesus Christ, from more than 150 nations, participants in the International Congress on World Evangelization at Lausanne, praise God for his great salvation and rejoice in the fellowship he has given us with himself and with each other. We are deeply stirred by what God is doing in our day, moved to penitence by our failures and challenged by the unfinished task of evangelization. We believe the gospel is God’s good news for the whole world, and we are determined by his grace to obey Christ’s commission to proclaim it to all mankind and to make disciples of every nation. We desire, therefore, to affirm our faith and our resolve, and to make public our covenant.

FOUNDER'S BIO
Rev. Dr. Joyson K Cherian holds post graduate degrees in Philosophy from Osmania University (Hyderabad), and in Theology from Union Biblical Seminary (Pune). He completed his PhD from Pune University. He is an ordained minister of Manna Ministries and pastors Hope Manna Church, Pune. He facilitates Asia Converge, an initiative of World Evangelical Alliance Youth Commission. His passion is to empower young people to reach out to their generation.
